We have partnered with UserVoice, a third-party service and your use of the portal and your submission is subject to the UserVoice Terms of Service & Privacy Policy, including the license terms. Please do not send any novel or patentable ideas, copyrighted materials, samples or demos for which you do not want to grant a license to Microsoft.

Below are a list of known issues, cast your vote to receive updates on a specific issue. Also, please add a comment with more details if you have them.

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. Video keeps playing even after closing the window.

    I added a "news" page on my screen. After clicking on an article, and watching a video in it, the video keeps playing even after I close the window. If a video is set to play the next video, it just keeps going on and on.

    reading news in Microsoft launcher sometimes crash the launcher. i think one problem was resolved and another appear now

  4. news feed no longer updating

    news feed will no longer update manually or other wise. tried fresh install of MS Launcher still will not update.

    The News-Page doesn't automatically updated the articles. If I also manually update the page, nothing happens, too.

    I am on the 4.7.5 version of the beta and my news card will not refresh. Has been stuck on the same stories for several days.

  11. Quality of News panel has dropped significantly

    Recently the news section of my home screen has changed from nearly 100% reputable news sources to 80% garbage click bait, with some reputable news organizations scattered in between. Please get rid of the click bait.

  15. News Feed not working anymore

    the news feed will not refresh with new stories. I have turned the phone off and on a number of times as well as reset Microsoft Launcher, but the same 3 news stories are still there. I have tried hitting the refresh button on the drop down list for the news feed, but it doesn't do anything. It used to bring up new stories, but not anymore. Please fix this. Thanks

  16. News home screen cannot be refreshed easily.

    So I have added a news home screen. After halfway scrolling through the news feed, I'm done and I want to refresh the entire news page. There is no refresh button. To refresh, I need to scroll all the way back up to the top, and yes there is no 'back to top' button either. So I got to furiously scroll through pages and pages to get back to the top just to refresh my news.
