I've been using the Microsoft Launcher for a really long time and I've been accustomed to it, all I have to say is this the best launcher for Android ever and I've never been disappointed.
I'm writing today to let you know about the 'Battery Drain Issue' that I've been facing since a few updates. It's not just me, but also a friend of mine who has been using the launcher on my recommendation and I'm writing on behalf of the both of us.
The device I use has a 5000mAh battery and usually lasts me for 2 days (on a full charge) with an 8 hours of approximate screen time before the battery drains completely on the stock launcher. I don't expect the same performance with the launcher installed, but the battery drain is a lot more than it should be.
With the launcher installed, the phone hardly lasts for 20 hours (on a full charge) with a 3 hours of screen time before the battery drains completely. I had to uninstall the launcher for a couple of weeks to get the above-mentioned results. I never faced the issues even when I was enrolled in the beta tester programme.
Kindly look into the problem and sort this out.
I really like this launcher and intend to keep using for a long time to come, I just don't want it drain away my phone's battery before my working day is over.
