News card articles
Upon opening an article from the news card from the Microsoft launcher, the article is opened at a non-native screen resolution providing borders on either side and stretching vertically into the status bar. In addition, a semi-transparent black film is placed over the article.
This does not happen when opening the Microsoft news app and then opening the same article.

I have the same issue and it makes the news page completely useless.
