Issues with Oreo - pin to home screen

I unlock my home screen, and try to pin OneNote page to it. goes through the motions, days is pinned, but nothing. worked before Oreo.

        Same with Nokia 8 w/ Android 8.0 and trying to pin an Edge URL to the homescreen. It just does nothing 😐

        @Microsoft I would think this API change would have been in place long ago. Please fix asap.

        I can't pin contacts or webpages. It says it's pinned a webpage, but nothing appears on my home page, which is unlocked
