We have partnered with UserVoice, a third-party service and your use of the portal and your submission is subject to the UserVoice Terms of Service & Privacy Policy, including the license terms. Please do not send any novel or patentable ideas, copyrighted materials, samples or demos for which you do not want to grant a license to Microsoft.

Below are a list of known issues, cast your vote to receive updates on a specific issue. Also, please add a comment with more details if you have them.

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. "Hey Cortana" is not launching while using other apps

    "Hey Cortana" is not launching over other apps, I have to go back to the home screen to launch Cortana by speaking hey Cortana.

  2. Cortana cannot play Spotify from launcher

    I have both the cortana app and the one in the launcher enabled. When using the app, I can tell cortana to play music on Spotify but when using it from the launcher it only opens Spotify an nothing happens. There seems no way to link the Spotify app as there is no notebook alternative.

    Launcher is set as the assist app.

  3. Hey cortana pauses music

    When you enable "hey cortana", music pauses whenever on the home screen.

    Launching an app or locking the device resumes playback.

    Cortana doens't work at all.
    I don't know exactly how to use Cortana, i have a Cortana shortcut on menu but when i touch it, nothing happens.

  18. Cortana a remplacé irréversiblement l'assistant Google mais ne fonctionne pourtant pas en français

    Depuis la dernière mise à jour Cortana à remplacé mon assistant Google. Comme elle ne fonctionne pas encore en français j'ai voulu remettre l'assistant Google mais impossible : le raccourci pour accéder à l'assistant lance systématiquement Cortana, même en la désactivant elle apparaît toujours.
    Merci de bien vouloir me guider.

  20. Cortana reminders

    Show Cortana Reminders in the Cortana or To-Do widgets. Currently the only way to see them is via the Cortana app.
