When using search bar after tapping return I get a message saying
"app isn't installed"
This is with Bing and Google. Don't mind Google not working but I need bing.

Search bar alignment changes
At least twice a day, the search bar in the launcher just shifts upward on one of the pages on home screen. I really wish I could attach a screenshot to show that.

Search bar put launcher search result "notification" right over the keyboard! Help
When I type in the search box I now get a "box" displaying how many items found in search right on my android keyboard. This is annoying. For example, it may say Microsoft launcher found 7search results.

the search widget becomes uncentered
I don't know the trigger but the search widget becomes misaligned on my home screen, shifting upwards within it's box. I can only fix it by toggling the padding.

Double
Double tap on search keywords highlights the entire search, not one word. Hugely frustrating.
Steps :
1. in search bar, type "Xbox pine games" and submit
2. In resulting screen, realize that "pines" was autocomplete error, it signs have been "one", so double tap it to select it and correct it.Result : double tap selects the whole search string, not just the word. Fixing one word is super tedious.
Expect: behave like every other edit control, and make double tap select a word.1 vote -

I turned off Frequently Used Apps In Search Suggestions but it still keeps showing in my Apps Drawer
